Matt is a Philly-based satirical keynote speaker, comedian, and comedy writer, who spoofs the “thought leader” industry. His keynote speaking career began when his wife, a bonafide leadership keynote speaker, asked him to manage her social media. It didn’t take long to realize everyone on LinkedIn was apparently the world’s leading thought leader and leadership expert. He quickly realized the industry was ripe for parody and pivoted to actually be the world’s leadership expert. (Click here for more info about his keynote speaking!)
In addition to being a satirical keynote speaker, Matt is also a stand up comic who performs around the country in festivals and can be seen on Amazon.com. As a comedy writer, his TV scripts have been finalists in many competitions.
Matt is also the creator of ego-baby.com, a satirical site that spoofs the new age/spirituality scene. Think Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop meets The Onion.
His writing has appeared in McSweeney’s, New York Magazine’s The Cut, Reedsy, Manfacts, and The Mother Faulkner.
